Karen Staniland-Platt loves to capture real life, human connection and to create stories both in words and pictures. She knows how daunting it is to have a camera pointed at you and be told to ‘smile’ so who better to help you through the process!
I love to capture real life, human connection and to create stories both in words and pictures. I photograph in a natural, documentary style, catching women and girls absorbed in following their passions… whether that’s a career passion, a side hustle or a hobby.
No studios, nothing too staged or posed and everything kept as truthful and authentic as possible.

Chris Clarkson is a voiceover but when not hiding in his booth he’s been working as a magician since 2010, entertaining thousands of people over the years. Working predominantly in close-up and mentalism, he is renowned for his sharp wit and cheesy smile, effortlessly captivating crowds with his corny gags and cheeky manner.

We’re keeping the exact contents of your party bag a surprise because it’s more fun that way! (And because not everyone has told us what they’re going to provide yet, but it’s mostly because it’s more fun when it’s a surprise!)
We can’t expect you to enjoy 12 hours of fun and chatter without a full belly. Each ticket includes evening food (served approx. 7pm). We’re keeping things northern serving hot pies and sides. Pick from a selection of meat, veggie, vegan, gluten free and halal options. Other dietary requirements? Let us know.

Some sessions will be run outside of the day itself so you still get to enjoy the full day!
We want you to feel as welcome as possible at our event, so if you don’t know anyone that is going (yet!) we’ll put you in touch with another solo attendee and one of our welcome team BEFORE the event so you can guarantee you’ll know someone when you arrive.

From outside events on radio for BRMB and Essex FM to presenting on Heartbeat FM then playing clubs all over for (too) many years including gigs at BCM Mallorca, Eden Ibiza, Plastick Ibiza, Space Ibiza, The End London, Fabric London, Gatecrasher Sheffield, Boat parties and world-famous brands like, Miss Moneypennies, Gatecrasher, Garlands, Cream, Dirty Little Funkers, and many more.
Expect party music from every year and a room full of dancing, happy people.
